He’s our Counselor, Friend, Teacher, Advocate, Source of wisdom, power of Almighty God within us! But, He is always with believers in Jesus. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit pours out like a raging waterfall.

I invite you to join us for the eight-week Jesus In Me OBS starting March 1 st with one of our favorite Bible teachers, Anne Graham Lotz.ĭon’t you wish you were there in person for Pentecost when Jesus’ followers were introduced to the Person of the Holy Spirit? (Acts 2) I mean, come ON! The sound of a violent wind, tongues of fire alighting on their heads, speaking in other languages? I am so in! It’s amazing what a little boredom does for creativity!Īs we approach this Easter season, let’s do something supremely cool… Let’s ask Jesus Christ without skin, the Holy Spirit at work within us, to speak to us in a new and powerful way! Let’s listen to the whispers of the God through reading the Word, waiting for Him to touch our hearts, and experience Him afresh! I promise it won’t be boring! Throughout the pandemic, social media has been filled with people spending more time at home learning and doing very cool things - baking sourdough bread from scratch (mine turned out like a desert rock but tastier), playing instruments from rooftops, dancing hip hop (some publishing to Tik Tok), gardening, sewing, quilting, painting, new puppy training, and all manner of sportsing. One thing I know for certain: The Holy Spirit is not an optional extra in my Christian life. ⤳ It will help you get to know Jesus Christ better. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be My witness… -Acts 1:8.

When you sign up you'll get a lot of great, free digital gifts (including a few I made!) and most importantly great daily devotionals written by Sarah about Jesus' final teaching and prayer. That it will call to those who are undecided and reaffirm the decision of those who are. Sarah begins the study saying, "Hey if you're on the fence.don't let that deter you from doing this study" because it's her hope that after you learn about Jesus and His character, you'll jump off the fence and into His arms. We all have free will, He will not force Himself upon us. Jesus invites every single one of us to follow Him, but that doesn't mean we have to accept the invitation. You have the opportunity to dwell and really think on the things that you've read.Īnother huge thing that I love about this study is that you don't have to be completely convinced about Jesus to read it. One thing that I really loved about the study is that Sarah gives you action points and discussion questions so that you're not just reading, but you're interacting. I happened to have had the privilege to read ahead and I'm telling you right now that you want to participate in this (and her other studies too if you haven't yet!). Today is the first day that you can pre-register for her newest free, online bible study called "Before I Go" If you read my last blog post (literally my last post 😑 sorry) about her Wisdom Whispers study, you'll learn a little more about our background and the things I love about Sarah, her studies, and her ministry and why I love helping her.

I haven't been posting much lately, which I apologize for! But that doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything.įor the last few months.maybe almost a year (!) I have been helping Sarah Koontz put together her free online bible studies by helping create graphics and some artwork for her.
